This is a 4 day / 3 night inn to inn walking vacation. You will stay at oceanfront (or ocean side) lodging each night from Santa Cruz to Pajaro Dunes, as you walk much of the Monterey Bay coastline. The total distance will be 24 miles in three days.

Classic Self-Guided Leisurely Inn to Inn Coastal Adventure
Day 1
Sunday or Monday – Arrive at The Dream Inn in Santa Cruz. You will have an ocean view room overlooking the Santa Cruz Wharf. Day free for exploring this vibrant beach community with several excellent coastal walks. Many restaurants are nearby for dinner. Park your car and it will be securely parked during the duration of your trip and returned to you at the finish.
Day 2
Monday or Tuesday – Walk begins after breakfast at your hotel. You can pick up lunch at a local cafe/deli along the route. Walk 6 miles to Capitola By The Sea, a lovely seaside village, where you’ll stay at the well renowned Inn at Depot Hill.
Day 3
Tuesday or Wednesday– Walk begins after breakfast at the inn. You can pick up lunch along the trail at a local cafe/deli. Walk 6 miles to the Aptos Seascape Resort. You’ll have a room high on the bluffs with fireplace, deck, and wet bar. Enjoy the many amenities at the resort, including a fine restaurant, or take a walk on the beach or bluffs and enjoy the sunset.
Day 4
Wednesday or Thursday – Walk begins after breakfast at your hotel. You’ll pick up your lunch along the trail at a small market/cafe before setting off on your 7.5 mile beach walk. You’ll meet your car and luggage at Pajaro Dunes.
COST
The price for this trip is $1095 per person, sharing a room and bed all three nights; $1295 with separate beds each night and your own room two nights; $1445 for your own room all three nights. The trip price includes three nights of lodging, luggage transport each day, breakfast each day, car parking and shuttle to the finish, taxes, tips, and service fees. In addition, each walker will be provided an extensive trip dossier with maps, narrative directions, historical notes, and nature guides, a local guide for 24/7 telephone support, and a memorable trip souvenir. The only additional expenses most walkers incur are the cost of lunches and dinners.
TO MAKE A RESERVATION: A $500 per person NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO HOLD A SPOT FOR THIS TRIP. The balance will be due 60 days prior to your departure date.
