Many of us think kayaking in the Monterey Bay is challenging enough with sea lions, sea otters, and fellow paddlers to keep track of. Others take off on well equipped kayaks to try their hand at fishing.
Some of our Slow Adventure guests were fortunate to hear quite a “fish story” this weekend in Monterey. The kayaker pictured at the left had the amazing experience of catching two giant sea bass. Where to put these monster fish was the question of the day. He just laid them across the bow and managed to paddle to shore balancing his 100lb passengers.
